Swish is moving! That’s right! We officially open our new doors on Thursday, September 17th and we could not be more excited! While we would love nothing more than to host an opening celebration, it just wouldn’t be safe to do so under the current circumstances. However, we hope to be able to celebrate this new chapter in the very near future! Please find our new shop details here. We can’t wait to see you there!
It's Time to Up Your Game!
It’s no secret that the pandemic has changed the way people dress as well as the fashion industry as a whole. While it’s tempting to think that contemporary fashion will only become increasingly casual, I’d like to think the opposite; that there will be a renewed interest in getting dressed up and expressing one’s individuality. After all, life is just too short to wear boring clothes! Lucky for you, the store is absolutely bursting at the seams with showstoppers such as these gowns. It’s time to up your game!

A New Normal
Who would have ever imagined that we would be at this place in history, experiencing a full blown pandemic and trying to navigate a new normal in these difficult times. Swish’s storefront has officially been closed since March 15th and a new business model has slowly been in the works. From Instagram and Facebook posts we’ve managed to sell a small but steady amount of goods and have been working on an e-commerce addition to the website.
We have been eternally grateful for all of our customers both old and new who have reached out with encouragement and support these last few months. We couldn’t imagine running this business without the sea of fashion loving, small business supporting community members. If you’re anything like me, you’ve struggled a bit to find a routine, to not eat all the cake, to limit your screen time and to get along with your housemates and partners. For me, I still have days where I get dressed up and put on lipstick even though the mask makes it more difficult, and I dream of all the beautiful clothing from the past, present and definitely future.
Spring is finally here in most parts of the country and it’s time to enjoy warmer temperatures and cooler fashions. Enjoy these beautiful days ahead and we look forward to seeing you in person (or online) very, very soon!

Somewhere In Between
It’s almost here, can you feel it? Okay, maybe not, but spring is really not that far away. With winter slowly on its way out and the thrill of spring in the air, the transition from winter to spring style can be challenging. Your jackets will begin to seem too bulky but it may be too cold for your favourite knits. At this unpredictable time of year, it's essential that you have a wardrobe that can seamlessly transition between the extremes. That's easy with a few key pieces that blend function with fashion for when it's not quite spring, but not quite winter, and you've found yourself at your wits' end.
